Deal alert: Points and miles travel deals for March 2025

Editor’s note: Some of the below offers may be targeted. This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.

From bonus points on your next hotel stay to generous sales of airline miles, we’re always looking for travel deals that help you earn more points and miles and redeem them for maximum value. In other words, we want to help you book the vacation of your dreams.

This week, we found travel deals, luggage discounts and more through Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, ending March 31. Plus, the Hyatt Regency Maui is now bookable for as low as 21,000 points, and you can redeem AAdvantage miles for inflight drinks and snacks. But that’s not all.

We help our readers each week by rounding up ongoing promotions so they don’t have to scour the internet for the best reward redemptions and offers. This includes everything from frequent flyer programs and hotel rewards programs to credit card offers and rental car deals. Here’s our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for March.

Airline loyalty program promotions (March 2025)

Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on certain dates, the chance to earn more miles for future travel and deals to rack up points toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for March.

Earn double AAdvantage miles on vacation packages

Booking flight and hotel packages is one of the many ways to earn American Airlines miles and Loyalty Points toward AAdvantage status. For a limited time, you and your traveling companions can earn double miles on vacation packages.

• Earn double miles on eligible vacation packages booked through American Airlines Vacations. This means basic AAdvantage members will earn a total of 2 miles per dollar spent, while members with elite status will earn a total of 10 miles per dollar spent. As an added benefit, all travelers in the booking earn at the same rate as the member with the highest status.
• Make sure that each traveler registers individually and that you add all travelers’ AAdvantage numbers to your booking(s) so that everyone can earn bonus miles.
• Register by April 19. You can then earn bonus miles and Loyalty Points on eligible travel through Sept. 30.

Save 25% on Emirates partner award flights

With Emirates Skywards’ 25%-off sale on partner redemptions, you can book flights starting at 6,000 miles one-way. You can also save 25% on redemptions through Emirates Skywards Hotels, but this is probably a less valuable way to spend your miles.

• Save 25% on eligible economy-class award flights marketed and operated by the following partners: Air Canada, Air Mauritius, Azul Brazilian Airlines, Bangkok Airways, Condor, Copa Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Gol Airlines, Japan Airlines, Jetstar, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, South African Airways, TAP Air Portugal and United Airlines.
• The discounted price in miles will appear in your search; no coupon code or registration is needed.
• Book by March 31, 2025, then travel by Jan. 6, 2026.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (March 2025)

Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays, ways to earn extra points and deals at various properties. Here are some March deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Earn triple IHG points on Germany stays

If Germany is in your spring travel plans, this promotion from IHG One Rewards is for you.

• Earn triple the base points you’d normally earn on every eligible stay in Germany during the offer period.
• To qualify, you must book your stay directly with IHG and spend at least $30 per night. Stays booked by redeeming points or with a combination of points and cash do not qualify.
• Register and book by May 31. Complete your stay(s) by July 6.

Earn up to 10,000 bonus Marriott points in New Orleans

Mardi Gras may be over, but it’s never a bad time to visit the Big Easy — and right now, you can earn up to 10,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points at select New Orleans hotels. That’s worth $70 per our March 2025 valuations.

• Earn 2,000 bonus points per night when you stay at one of six New Orleans properties, up to a maximum of 10,000 bonus points. See eligible hotels on the Marriott Bonvoy website.

Take a gamble on Hyatt with 777 bonus points per night

Considering staying at a casino hotel? Whether you’re dreaming of the glamour of Las Vegas or the soft sand of the Caribbean, you can earn bonus World of Hyatt points on your next casino stay.

• Earn 777 bonus points per eligible night, up to 10 nights total, at 20 participating hotels and resorts worldwide.
• Register first, then stay between April 10 and June 9.

Credit card promotions (March 2025)

Card issuers sometimes offer deals and discounts for certain cardholders on everything from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Remember that you must activate these offers on your card and use your enrolled card to make the purchase to earn bonus rewards.

Targeted Amex Offer at SLS Hotels

If you’re looking to get lost in luxury, Mandarin Oriental offers 40-plus hotels complete with fine dining and serene spas. This Amex Offer, which we found on The Platinum Card® from American Express, could save you up to 20% on your next stay.

• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $500 on a single purchase on room rate and room charge purchases at participating Mandarin Oriental properties in the U.S. and Europe.
• This offer ends May 6.

Targeted Amex Offer at Trafalgar

If you’re thinking about booking a tour or vacation package for your next trip, check out this Amex Offer, which we spotted on the American Express® Gold Card.

• Earn a one-time $200 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $1,000 on one or more purchases on Trafalgar tour packages and vacations.
• Reservations must be booked online at the Trafalgar U.S. website or by phone at 866-544-4434; purchases must be made in U.S. dollars. Excludes bookings through travel agents, stand-alone flights, extra hotel nights, optional experiences and gratuities.
• This offer expires May 22.

Targeted Chase Offer at Best Western

Road trip season is around the corner, and Best Western is a great option for travelers hitting the road. This offer, which we found on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, could save you some cash on your next stay.

• Earn 10% cash back on your Best Western stay, up to a $32 cash-back maximum, when you spend $100 or more on a single purchase directly with the merchant.
• The offer is valid at domestic properties of Best Western, Best Western Plus, Best Western Premier, Vib, Glo, Aiden and Executive Residency. The offer is not valid at SureStay Hotels, WorldHotels, BW Signature Collection or BW Premier Collection.
• You must make the complete payment for your stay by April 21.

Ongoing travel deals

• Earn 500 additional Loyalty Points per flight segment flown in March (up to 5,000 Loyalty Points maximum) after registration for eligible flights marketed and operated by American Airlines or American Eagle. • Earn up to 8,000 bonus Lufthansa Miles & More miles when you rent a car with Avis, depending on rental length. You must book your Avis rental by March 31 and complete your rental by June 30.
• Earn double IHG One Rewards base points starting on your second paid stay, then keep earning double on unlimited stays through March 31. Register before booking.
• Earn 2,000 bonus miles (valid for one year) when you join Emirates Skywards. Register using code “CONDOR” by March 31.
• Earn double Best Western Rewards points on up to two qualifying stays in Denmark, Norway and Sweden between now and March 31. You must register online or at the front desk at any Best Western-branded hotel in Scandinavia.
• Earn 15,000 bonus points per eligible paid stay at participating Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy properties worldwide. To qualify, each stay must be three or more consecutive nights with a minimum spending of $1,500 (or local equivalent). Sign in and book by March 31, then stay between April 1 and 30.
• Earn up to 5,000 bonus Flying Blue miles on car rentals at participating Hertz locations worldwide, excluding Hertz 24/7 locations and vehicles. Book your rental through the offer page by April 2 and complete it by June 21.
• Earn double Choice Privileges base points on up to four qualifying stays at participating properties booked directly through Choice or Book by Google. Register for this promotion, then book and stay by April 7.
• Get a points rebate when you redeem Aeroplan points for hotels and car rentals through Air Canada’s booking platform: 10,000 points back when you redeem 40,000 or more points on a stay or rental and 25,000 points back when you redeem at least 100,000 points. If you hold an Aeroplan® Credit Card, you’ll get an additional 5,000 points back. Register and book by April 13, then complete travel by Sept. 30.
• Earn 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points and one bonus elite night credit for each eligible paid night you stay at participating properties booked directly through Marriott — with no limit to how much you can earn. Register through April 14 for stays through April 28.
• Earn up to 3,500 bonus nonqualifying ITA Airways Volare points when you fly at least two routes with Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines or Brussels Airlines; earn 1,000 bonus points for two routes to domestic or European destinations and/or 2,500 bonus points for two routes to intercontinental destinations. • Earn up to 7,000 bonus points total at participating Radisson Rewards properties: 500 points for your first stay, 3,000 points for your second stay and 3,500 points for your third stay. Register for this promotion, then book and stay by April 24.
• Earn 5,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points for joining the program and completing your first stay. You must register and complete your first stay within 21 days of joining. You have until April 30 to register and stay.
• Receive a $50 Best Western gift card when you stay two nights between now and May 11 at any Best Western hotel in the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean. You can use this promotion up to two times for a maximum of two $50 gift cards per member. Gift cards will expire Aug. 3.
• Earn 20% bonus Accor Live Limitless points on qualifying bookings you make through the app by June 30. Download the app.
• Earn up to 1,500 bonus HawaiianMiles on car rentals at participating Avis and Budget locations in the U.S. when you add your HawaiianMiles number to your reservation at booking and complete your rental by July 31. For Avis, book with Avis Worldwide Discount code “A368908” and coupon code “MUAA023.” For Budget, use Budget Customer Discount code “R901009” and coupon code “MUAZ036.”

Additionally, there are many stand-alone Amex and Chase offers still available across a variety of credit cards. Keep in mind that these offers are targeted. You need to activate them prior to making an eligible purchase to receive cash back, bonus points or miles.

• Earn 10% back (up to $125 maximum) as a statement credit on prepaid hotel purchases at Expedia. Book and prepay online by April 6.
• Earn a $250 statement credit after spending $1,000 or more on room rate and room charge purchases incurred at the time of reservation for Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy properties. This offer expires April 13.
• Earn $200 back as a statement credit when you spend at least $1,000 on one or more Norwegian Cruise Line purchases (excluding onboard purchases, shore excursions and Norwegian gift cards) at Norwegian’s website or by phone at 888-438-7114. This offer expires April 13.
• Earn $60 as a statement credit when you spend at least $300 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Hilton properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories. This offer expires April 30.

• Earn $50 as a statement credit when you spend at least $250 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Hilton properties by April 30.
